myNKY Community Vibrancy Nano Grants

In support of the myNKY vision to promote vibrant communities in Northern Kentucky, the Catalytic Fund and the Center for Great Neighborhoods (The Center) are pleased to offer the myNKY Nano Grant program for its second year, made possible by a grant from the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation.

The program originated from a similar program started by The Center in Covington. In 2016, Skyward worked with The Center to expand it to the Northern Kentucky communities of Dayton, Florence and Pendleton County. In 2017, it will be offered in the original three communities plus three additional ones (as yet to be determined).

The purpose of the Nano Grant program is to support creative place-making, which is defined as an artistic or creative effort to strengthen a neighborhood or community. The applications are available to residents, students or workers in Dayton, Florence or Pendleton County (and the three additional communities as yet to be determined). It is hoped that the Nano Grant projects will bring Northern Kentuckians together, build a sense of community, celebrate our differences and foster community pride.
